Brian Moore, based in Wisconsin, is a longtime Miniature Hereford breeder with deep agricultural roots. Raised on a dairy farm near Osage, Iowa, Brian later pursued a career in education before rediscovering his passion for livestock. In 2015, he and his family—wife Vickie and children Nolan and Kate—began raising Miniature Herefords, turning a spark at the National Western Stock Show into a thriving herd.

Brian is a dedicated supporter of youth in agriculture and an active leader in the Miniature Hereford Youth Foundation. Whether mentoring young showmen or helping behind the scenes, he brings heart, humility, and hands-on leadership to the breed.

Emma Eldridge is a passionate educator and proud advocate for the Miniature Hereford breed. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, she was a key member of the 2024 Reserve National Champion Livestock Judging Team. Now serving as Head Coach at Colby Community College, Emma is shaping the next generation of judging talent.

Raised around Hereford cattle, Emma found her niche early in Miniature Herefords and has remained deeply involved through the MHBA and Miniature Hereford Youth Foundation—where she once served as Queen. Her commitment to youth, both in the classroom and the show ring, reflects her belief in giving back and growing the breed from the ground up.

SHERYL  ERICKSON


SECRETARY

Sheryl Erickson of Aberdeen, South Dakota is co-owner of SEAL Livestock, where she raises Registered Miniature Herefords with her family. A lifelong advocate for youth and agriculture, Sheryl has served as a 4-H leader for over 30 years and held leadership roles on multiple community boards.

She brings decades of experience in real estate, business management, and animal training, and is known for mentoring young cattle enthusiasts both at home and in the show ring. Sheryl currently serves as Secretary for the Miniature Hereford Youth Foundation and is a dedicated volunteer at Junior Nationals—always ready to lend a hand and invest in the next generation.

JENNIFER PLACE


TREASURER

Jennifer Place grew up on a Polled Hereford farm in Virginia and earned her B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech, where she competed on both the Livestock and Horse Judging Teams. Now based in Windsor, Colorado, she and her husband Jeff raise Miniature Herefords with their son, Jackson.

Jennifer serves as Treasurer for the Miniature Hereford Youth Foundation and plays a key role on the MHJN Committee, bringing professionalism, attention to detail, and a hands-on spirit to every event. Whether behind the scenes or in the barn, she’s always ready to support the breed and its youth.

BRICE WHITE


DIRECTOR OF GRANTS

Brice White has been part of the Miniature Hereford breed for over a decade, raising cattle with his family in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Alongside their herd of Miniature Herefords, the Whites also run a successful Club Calf program. Brice’s passion for the breed has become a family tradition, proudly shared with her daughter, Rileigh.

Brice continues to support the Miniature Hereford community through breeding, mentorship, and active involvement in events across the country.

ALYSSA DUVAL


DIRECTOR OF SCHOLARSHIPS

Alyssa DuVal grew up on her family’s generational farm—DuVal Farms—in Silverton, Oregon, where she developed a lifelong passion for Miniature Herefords. She now serves as a Senior Instructor in Crop and Soil Science at Oregon State University and brings her educator’s heart to every role she takes on.

As Director of Scholarships for the MHBA and a key organizer of the Miniature Hereford Junior Nationals, Alyssa is known for her attention to detail, calm leadership, and tireless dedication to youth. Whether mentoring in the barn or coaching in the classroom, she’s helping shape the future of the breed—one student at a time.
